A few weeks ago, the elders came to you with a request regarding our Year-End Giving. We shared that the congregation is in good financial shape, even with the crazy year we’ve experienced, and that we are entering 2021 with faith and optimism. We also shared that we had several opportunities in front of us in 2021 and needed your financial assistance to make them a reality. Our request was for $100,000 above our budgeted giving through the remainder of the year.
Not only was that goal achieved, it was exceeded. Over the last three weeks of the year we exceeded our budgeted giving by $137,000…$37,000 over our goal. We are humbled by your generosity, but not surprised. Over and over again you have supported this church in so many wonderful ways, including financially. On behalf of your leadership, we thank you so much for your generosity, your support, and your faith.
Of course, we thank God from whom all blessings flow. We will update you on the projects we outlined for Whispering Pines, Room In The Inn and others as they move forward this year.
